Linear Online: Still the fastest way to turn a project around.

Traditional linear editing at its best. An uninterrupted 601 digital signal path, 10 bit processing, and Digital Betacam mastering ensure perfect picture and lossless layering. We have the all the warps, trails, deep defocus, transforms, color correction, chroma keying and digital audio processing you might need. And, more importantly, the expertise to make all of it run smoothly. Our Axial editor allows us to read non-linear lists, and save every detail of the session, making changes faster and cheaper.

Non-Linear Offline and Finishing; Stretching is overrated. AVID is the best way to stay flexible. Making non-linear edit decisions allows you the flexibility to make changes easily, and return to previous projects as if they were never deleted.

Linear Online;

Graphic Design

Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe After Effects. 3D modeling. We can design and create a logo from just an idea, or turn a business card into a logo animation. In fact, we can develop an entire package, from web pages to letterhead, from business cards to CD covers.

Graphics Production

See your images evolve from disk (or print) to television. Or vice versa. High resolution scanning of photos, negatives, transparencies or 3 color art. Re-sizing and translation of all graphic formats, from virtually any storage medium. Rotoscope away film dirt, boom mics, or blemishes (better than Clearasil). Touch up existing logos or images. Capture stills from your finished video for web sites or print ads.

Web Design;

In producing your television project, you will already have created video, graphics and copy that can be repurposed to a web-ready form . Our experienced web staff can create individual elements for use by your own comapny, or we can design, author and host a complete site for your project.

Digital Encoding;

Encoding rates apply to creating digital media from sources or re-encoding existing media to a new format, bit rate or codec. Burns to CD-R may include audio, video or data.

Most popular codecs are available, including: mp3, aiff, wav, Real System (rm), Quicktime (mov), Windows Media (asf).

Tape Logging;

Both our logging stations use Executive Producer, an intuitive, easy-to-learn Mac based logging software. (Your rate includes a first time tutorial).

Executive Producer provides complete list information, as well as comments and (this is cool) a representative still frame capture. Print out everything in easy-to-read logs, or export data into several useful formats, including Avid log exchange and Sony & CMX EDL's.

If you need us to log your field tapes for you, we can do that, too, albeit at a slightly higher rate. Text-only transcription is also available for interview material. Please call for pricing and lead-time requirements.
