ImageMaster Productions:
Recognition and Results

ImageMaster Productions’ recent work to improve and save lives is garnering recognition and results.

Coming This Summer was produced for the Georgia’s Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). The dramatic public service campaign promotes GOHS’ enforcement missions for safety belt, speeding, and impaired driving awareness. Designed to look and sound like blockbuster action movie promos, the attention-grabbing, fast paced and highly visual spots portray the severe consequences of "a sure fire ticket!" and "a roller coaster ride to jail!".

GOHS Director Bob Dallas, ImageMaster's Dan Johnson and Terry Schiavone of NHTSA celebrate the Emmy Win for Best Director
The series of PSA’s won three Emmy Awards nominations, winning the Emmy for Best Director (Dan Johnson and Port Wilson). The high-impact campaign also took top honors in Austin, Texas, for the National Association of Government Communicators national First Place Gold Screen Award. This coveted award recognizes excellence in written, filmed and photographed government communication campaigns.

ImageMaster’s documentary, Fostering Hope – A Call to Care, is also making an impact. Fostering Hope raises awareness of the significant need for foster and adoptive parents in Georgia and is part of a drive begun by Georgia’s First Lady Mary Perdue to improve the foster care system and increase individual and corporate participation in foster care and adoptive initiatives. Fostering Hope shares the compelling stories of special individuals who are committed to caring for children in need.

The film was recognized with three Telly Awards for Videography, Copywriting and Editing. These prestigious Awards honor outstanding television programs, video and film productions. Annually showcasing the best work of highly respected production companies, advertising agencies, television stations and corporations, the Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected national and international competition.

Fostering Hope, which originally aired in November 2004, re-aired on Georgia Public Broadcasting in May, and on commercial television throughout the state of Georgia, in June.

More significant than the awards however, are the results. The Coming This Summer campaign has been instrumental in changing behavior and saving lives on Georgia roads. Studies conducted after initial awareness efforts indicated a significant increase in the number of drivers and passengers using their safety belts in the state of Georgia. Heightened awareness due to this campaign also contributed to a 50% decrease in automobile fatalities over the 2004 Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The campaign will continue to air on Georgia television stations and cable outlets throughout the state, leading up to and during heightened enforcement periods.

Fostering Hope has been recognized for raising awareness of the critical shortage of qualified foster families and for directing viewers to vital resources for becoming involved. After the broadcasts of the film, there were significant increases in calls to the adoption and foster care information phone number (1.877.210.KIDS) and visits to the "Fostering Hope" website (www.fosteringhope.info).

ImageMaster is committed to using the resources, experience, and services of the company to improve the lives of Georgia’s citizens and is honored to have these significant opportunities.
